a wedding to remember

Oh man this weekend came and went and I couldn’t have been part of a more beautiful wedding. My sister looked so happy and was smiling from ear to ear the entire night.

She looked beautiful walking down the aisle (and didn’t cry!) at the amazing St. Thomas Aquinas church. My cousin from New York sang so beautifully it brought tears to my eyes. Then it was off to the Hotel Adolphus to get our dance on.

The ballroom was full of bling and my sister never left the dance floor. With everything from old school hip hop, house music, salsa, Bollywood and of course Beyoncé, the dance floor was always crowded. The speeches were incredible and even though I was a nervous wreck getting ready for it (I could feel my champagne glass shaking more and more), I got through it!

We had family from India, New York, Mexico and Houston to name a few all to celebrate the beginning of a new journey. My feet STILL hurt from dancing all night and have been catching up on some much needed sleep. Everyone had a great time and my dad even danced and sang to Nelly’s “Must Be The Money”!
