For those that read my blog, you know I’ve got nothing but love for Birchbox,.

This monthly subscription service sends you 4-5 high-end samples at your door. I’ve been a member since 2012 and have done several “unboxing” posts to share what I’ve gotten. Recently I got Justin a Birchbox for Men subscription and thought I’d share the goodies in his box.

Just like for the ladies, once you subscribe it’ll ask you to fill out a profile so they can match the products best suited for you. My husband doesn’t do frills, and advanced skincare is tough to get him to try, so they’ve been sending him shaving/grooming products and techie gadgets that they think he’ll love. It’s a bit more expensive than the original BB ($20 instead of $10), but he’s liked the products sent and has actually made a couple of purchases.

This month they worked with Details Magazine for the best products of 2014 and sent him:

– Baxter of California: Oil Free Moisturizer

– Proraso: After Shave Cream

– Ursa Major: Face Wash

– V76 by Vaughn: Shampoo & Conditioner

They even sent him a full size razor from Harry’s which he’s pretty excited to use. Past extras included cord organizers by Quirky, fabric tie (which I LOVE but he wasn’t too much into) and cool socks. The products are great for travel, which is mostly what he uses them for.

Whether looking for new products, a reason to up your grooming routine or just want a surprise gift every month, I high recommend Birchbox for Men.
