The Prettiest Everyday Dinnerware

When my husband and I married, we went through the standard registry items of linens, dinnerware, and all the newlywed things. We picked out a pretty black and red dinnerware set that we later regretted as it cracked and chipped if you looked at it weird. I’m glad we also got a more formal set.

After the years and our recent move, we donated the red and black set and bought a basic white set that is pretty much indestructible. While it works, I really wanted something to replace the B&R set in a pretty color that could also serve family and guests when they are over. White is fine, but sometimes color is better 🙂

Enter Stone + Lain. I’m thrilled they reached out to get these plates, bowls, and mugs into my kitchen. With beautiful colors, designs and styles made out of porcelain, china and stone, it was just what I was looking for. It’s also a great pick in quality and affordability. Win/win!

The Tom Stoneware Dinnerware Set in pink white is so beautiful and unique. Of course, my daughter loves it (hello, pink is her favorite color).

It has muted wave-like edge and reactive glaze, making each plate and bowl perfectly imperfect. It’s also microwave and dishwasher safe. For those that are sensitive to textures, it also doesn’t have that unfinished pottery-like feel which makes me cringe. The finishing glaze is smooth and shiny which makes me very happy.
